Leviticus 6:11-13

¹¹ When he has taken off his garments and put on other clothing, he shall carry the fat-drenched ashes outside the camp to a clean place. ¹² The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It is not to go out. Every morning the priest is to burn more wood on it, so that he may lay out the burnt offering on top of it and turn the fat parts of the fellowship offerings into smoke on top of it. ¹³ The fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar. It must not go out.
